Group Runs:

Tuesday - Speed Interval Training

March-October, starting at 6:00 pm at the Santa Fe High School track.
November-March, starting at 6:00 pm at the Running Hub.

Tuesday Night Fartlek Run

It's time to mix things up a little and get some snap back in your legs after a couple of weeks of tempo paced running!

Regular warmup.

Main set: Run 1 light pole at or faster than 5k pace. Really turn up the heat on the fast part. Then recover for three light poles. In order to really go fast on the fast part, you will need to go very slowly on the recovery section.

Cool down back to The Running Hub.

Thursday - Tempo Runs

Year round runs, starting at 6:00 pm at the Running Hub. Runs are of varying distance and difficulty. For the record, this is the "official" Eric's Route

Sunday - Trail Runs

Trail runs typically begin at 8:00 am every Sunday.  Run details are generally posted on this page by Thursday.  For more information,  contact Striders' run coordinator Eric Peters.

Last Trail Run post on 2/3/2012:
Run for Sunday, February 5th

Meet at the Sierra del Norte parking lot at 8AM. We will run the outer loop of the Dale Ball Trails. Approximate distance is 11 miles but shorter loops are also available.
