Sante Fe Snowshoe Classic

Location: Norski Trails near Santa Fe Ski Basin (mile marker 15) off Hyde Park Rd. Santa Fe, NM
Just past the Vista Grande Overlook on the left.
Event Details
3.6 mile snowshoe race on rolling terrain at 10,000 ft. elevation. Optional 1 mile kids race for ages 14 and under. This race is a featured event in the first annual New Mexico Cup Winter Race Series. Doing this race automatically enters you in the series. See www.newmexicocupraceseries.com for details
(note: all racers will do 1.5 loops course this year. There are no separate 1 and 2 loop races. There is an optional 1 mile race distance for kids.)
Important Notice about Norski Trail Use: As posted at the trailhead, the Norski Trails are reserved in the winter for XC skiing only and dogs are not allowed. The snow shoe race is held there under a one day special permit by the US Forest Service. Please do not snowshoe, hike or bring your dog on these trails during the winter as these activities ruin the trail for skiers.
Registration
1. Please sign up online. It helps us organize and start the race on time. We pay the transaction fee, so it does not cost you extra. There is NO Strider club discount on race day, you must pre-register to receive your discount.

Snowshoe Rental
Special $5 snow shoe rental available for in-store pickup at REI Santa Fe the day before the race. Online registration receipt required to get this deal. There will be no race site snow shoe rentals.
