Tuesday evening track workouts, 5:45-7 pm at Santa Fe High School track (March-November)
Saturday morning runs, long slow distance on the Rail Trail, meet at Rail Runner Station at Zia and St. Francis 7:30 am.
We recommend parking at Albertsons and walking across the street.
The course is a simple out-and-back that allows you to run any distance you want. It starts on a paved running/biking path and turns to dirt after 1.5 miles. There are some steep hills but very little overall elevation gain. Paces vary from around 8 minutes flat to walking 16 minutes per mile, so there should definitely be someone who runs close to your pace and distance.
Sunday morning trail runs, various places and times, updated by email or website
The Santa Fe Striders will be running the Big T course this Sunday, two weeks before the Big T. This run will be led by the effervescent Stephen Sweezey, joined by a cast of thousands (ok. maybe a dozen).
We will run the entire course, roughly 11.7 miles in total. The course is out-and-back, so you can turn at any point if you want to run shorter. All paces are welcome.
Join us Sunday September 18 at 8am, at Aspen Vista Parking lot on Hyde Park Road (NM-475), mile marker 14, for a fun morning on the trail.
