Fowl Day Run – November 5, 2022

Come out for the Striders annual Fowl Day 5K. The course is cross-country style over dirt roads and through arroyos. The race is generally un-timed so bring a watch. We will also have our timing clock setup at the finish. The race traditionally holds a raffle in lieu of awards – stick around and win assorted holiday pies, race and sponsor t-shirts, and sponsor gift certificates after the race.

Race day registration for this race, as it is every year, is FREE! Just stop by the registration table and sign the waiver. Runners are asked to bring in donations of non-perishable food, clothing, or monetary donations, in lieu of race fees, to benefit the Salvation Army who will be there boxing up the goodies. Suggested cash donations of $20 will also be accepted by the Salvation Army crew

This year a 2-mile walk course, a subset of the 5K, will be added

Event starts north of Murales Road, behind Fort Marcy Recreation Center complex, near Murales road and the arroyo. Please park in the lot off of Murales Road or behind the Ft. Marcy Building
